A Selection of Photography by Aliakbar Sayah | عکس های علی اکبر سیاح
My first threat with love happened in solitude and through movie characters. So much so that they became a hidden life with sometimes joyful and sometimes desperate fantasies. This secret life in the mind had an image similar to the black and white cinema of the sixties in Europe such as Italy, Sweden and France, where the border between reality and dream was removed and everything happened in an inner exploration. Everything was like a dream, but a dream with dead people…

Aliakbarsayah, In her frames, the tourist is always making references, different references to old films and paintings and even references to herself. He use objects as symbols to represent the innermost being of a person and an inner journey. A journey from the outside to the inside, which is symbolized by objects such as dolls and glass vases.
Aliakbarsayah, These frames tell a story, but each of the words of the poem are put together and form the poetic. Painting and lighting are also facilities that Sayah use to get closer to their main sources, cinema and painting, and to add to their poetry. In fact, Aliakbarsayah see the cinema camera as a canvas and paints in the medium of film and experiences the cinema in her collection of photographs.

AliAkbar Sayah started photography in 2016 and has participated in several group photography exhibitions in galleries such as Sheith and Khurshid. In addition to teaching photography and lighting photography courses, as a curator, she has also organized several exhibitions of the works of students of photography classes. Previously, due to her experience in cinematography and interdisciplinary communication between painting and cinema, He directed several photography projects and wrote a treatise entitled “Eternity of Beauty” about the principles and knowledge of cinema and photography lighting. The most activity of Sayah in photography has been in social documentary techniques, portraiture and ethnography, and “All My Loves” is considered her first collective experience in fine art photography.
Fine-art photography is photography created in line with the vision of the photographer as artist, using photography as a medium for creative expression. The goal of fine-art photography is to express an idea, a message, or an emotion. This stands in contrast to representational photography, such as photojournalism, which provides a documentary visual account of specific subjects and events, literally representing objective reality rather than the subjective intent of the photographer; and commercial photography, the primary focus of which is to advertise products, or services.
In Fine Art, the artist aims to demonstrate an idea, message or emotion through their work. It is visual art principally produced for aesthetic purposes and valued for its expressiveness. Therefore, Fine Art Photography is a mode of photography where creative expression takes centre stage.
As a style, it differs from other forms of photography – such as Photorealism or Photojournalism – because it is less about digitally documenting a subject and more about using digital devices as tools to record an artistic vision. In other words, rather than images that display a moment as the camera sees it, Fine Art photographs present what the artist sees.
All My Loves and Conceptual
It’s all about presenting a notion or an idea with conceptual photography. You may convey a strong message with this artwork. The most crucial aspect of conceptual photography is creating and precisely arranging the situations to emphasize their meanings. It evolved from the 1960s and 1970s Conceptual Art movements. Conceptual art is primarily concerned with expressing the concept through physical materials.
